Buhari's Second Day In India

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently on his four-day official visit to New Delhi, India.

Nigerian leader had very busy second day of his trip the main aim of which was to attend the 3rd India-Africa Forum Summit.

President Buhari has also met with his coursemate in staff college Lt. Gen. Vinay Shankar (Rtd) and some of his old coursemates at the LALIT Palace Hotel.

He got a presentation from Lt. Gen. Vinay Shankar (Rtd). Buhari is a graduate of the Indian Defence Services Staff College in Wellington from where he graduated in 1973.

While meeting with Nigerians in India Nigerian president was presented with gift of his portrait.

Buhari also told the Nigerians that he was fully aware of the expectations of those who elected him on the platform of change and integrity, while vowing to address infrastructure situation and end insurgency in Nigeria’s north-east, hopefully by the end of the year.
