Despite the affirmation of his election by the Election Petition Tribunal, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state is still disconcerted.

This comes on the heels of report that the governor is determined to reclaim the mandate he said was stolen by his predecessor, Jonah Jang, who is now the Senator of the Plateau North senatorial district, Premium Times reports.
Speaking in Jos while addressing party supporters on Wednesday, October 29, Lalong urged his predecessor, Senator Jonah Jang not to be too comfortable as a senator, adding that the All Progressives Congress (APC ) would not relent in its effort to reclaim the seat at the Appeal Court.
