ACTION AND REACTION, PRECEDENT AND NEMESIS
Exactly a year ago around the time of PVC distributions, APC leader Bola Tinubu made an infamous statement that INEC had "merged" with PDP. He said:
“Just as we (APC) merged to form a formidable opposition party, they (INEC) have merged with Jonathan to form a formidable rigging machine."
Yet even with INEC "merging" with PDP, APC won. And nothing like shame on Tinubu's side, no remorse at telling lies, no anxiety at the way society will look at him for smearing the name of an institution for selfish benefit...all conscience is dead and deadened by the blind pursuit for power.
You see, whenever I read APC and PDP squaring off on one of their many spats, I just wonder if APC thinks Nigerians are dumb. They think we've forgotten how they raised hell at the most inane thing, promoted a lot of noise and made a major issue out of the most stupid little irrelevant things, so loud was their noise on many issues that it drowned out any attempt at reasoning.
If as they say, politics is without sentiments, then Olisa Metuh is currently being too soft in the tone of his press releases or simply not up to par. I assure you most solemnly that if he raises his propaganda to even HALF-PITCH or HALF-STRENGTH of what APC did between 2013 - 2015, the country will be so hot for Buhari that he and his party won't be worth one kobo in the eyes of Nigerians by the time 2019 comes. Already, there's pressure building up everywhere...
PDP has many stones to throw at this govt...in just 6months, Buhari has gifted the opposition with a bagful of stones but that opposition is pulling punches...mscheew! Anyway, I heard they're restructuring.
In accordance with the universal principles of action and reaction and nemesis, if the new PDP is anything up to scratch, then APC should expect hell...
Distinguished Senator Philip Aduda was just testing the waters.
