The Lagos state governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has appointed professor Fidelis Njokanma as the new acting vice chancellor of the Lagos state university, LASU.
The acting VC was born October 15, 1958 in Asaba, Delta State, South South Nigeria. He attended Santa Maria Primary School, Enugu from 1964 to 1967 before moving to Local Authority Primary School, Asaba where he completed his primary education in 1970. He was also at St Patrick College (Nnebisi) Asaba between 1971 and 1975 before he was admitted to study medicine and surgery at University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
