The resignation of the MTN Group CEO, Sifiso Dabengwa goes to show that if Nigeria sneezes, the South African corporate giant catches cold. This will be a lesson for then to sit up and improve on their services in Nigeria where they reap a major part of their earnings. This is also a call to the regulatory body NCC to sit up as well and not weild the big stick when the damage has already been done. The $5.2 bn fine is also too draconian and could grind MTN's business to a halt, throwing many Nigerians into the unemployment market.
President Buhari must step in an handle this issue amicably now. A stitch in time they say, saves nine.
