UPDATEED.............Robbers Storm Banks In Agbara (Photos)

An unknown number of gunmen stormed Bank Road in Agbara, Ogun state, November 19, 2015, killing five people on the spot.
An eyewitness revealed that the gunmen arrived in the area in two-speed boats around 7am, shooting endlessly as people scampered for safety.
“Around 9am, as everyone was going about his business, they just started shooting sporadically.
“They came in through the Agbara Bus-Stop, through the NestlĂ© Road and down to the Bank Road inside the Industrial Estate where we have about ten banks,” he added.
, the attack was brutal as some policemen were shot dead. He said: “They shot and killed all the mobile policemen on that road, and the ones on guard at a popular bank where they eventually broke into.”
It was further explained that the policemen and other security agents within the area were overpowered, which allowed the robbers to operate successfully.
A pregnant woman was said to have been hit in the leg by a stray bullet, but was immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital.
The operation was said to have lasted over thirty minutes, and the robbers were said to have escaped through a community in Agbara with an undisclosed amount of money.
