OSHOMOLE AND HIS MOUTH DIARRHEA AGAIN-IS IT THAT WE ARE A NATION OF
HYPOCRITES OR MOST OF US COLLECTIVELY SUFFER FROM DELIBERATE AMNESIA.?
Over the last one week, the air wave has been abuzz with the reckless and Sentimental outcry of the loquacious Adams Oshomole for the prosecution of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala for what he termed distribution of Federation funds without appropriation. The same Adams Oshomole on air absolved Jonathan of any ills. How is it so easily possible for him to jail Ngozi and leave Jonathan out for distributing funds without appropriation ? As usual, most Internet Tigers, from the uninformed to the haters have joined in the mob Bay for blood. I have been away over the last three days pursuing urgent matters of national interests. Now, that I have some time to spare, I will not fail to address this issue frontally.
Firstly, I am one of those that believe that anyone that ate our yams or wilfully aided the "chopping" of our yams should be called to return those yams. However, what I detest is the hypocritical and sentimentally chants for blood without facts by those whose cupboards are full of rotten rats for reasons that bothers on hatred and not altruism.
It is the same Adams Oshomole that lied to the whole world that Uche Orji of the Nigeria Sovereign Wealth Fund paid $700million /N140billion as consultancy fees for the construction of the second Niger bridge. When it was found that it was only $2.4m that was spent, he did not deem it fit to apologize and his deluded partners in the social media, who gleefully shared same salacious and wicked lies did not deem it fit to do a retraction on their walls.
That someone should call for the jailing of Okonjo Iweala, even without given her a chance of fair hearing based on the unguarded utterances of a man, who had overtime demonstrated a very shameful penchant to lying without gumption, for purportedly distributing revenues without appropriation shows clearly that some of us are either sentimentally jaundiced or pathetically ignorant. Their is no way she can allow disbursement without the explicit written approval of the President. Even if it is proven that funds were disbursed under the government of Jonathan without appropriation and the NASS then did not query him, the only way Okonjo Iweala can be jailed is if it is proven that she shared monies without the Presidents approval. It is like asking for the jailing of the head of a business division of a company for executing a lawful directive by the CEO and then exonerating the CEO . Honestly I feel sorry for this country. Before you know it now they will accuse one of being arrogant. Under what premise should she be jailed, none had mentioned it. The shameless Adams oshomole that is championing this rubbish is yet to tell us how he made his billions as a retired factory worker in a textile company. No one had bothered to ask him to account for how he acquired and arrived at his sudden stupendous wealth even after working only as a factory hand. Not even as a professional engineer. Odi Egwu really.
