The ongoing pro Biafra protest has taken a different shape and level this time, with the blocking of the Onitsha Head-Bridge by supporters of Biafra.
According to the information, the pro Biafra protesters have taken over the Head-Bridge and laid a complete blockade that no vehicle could come in or go out of the east.
The protesters, who vowed to stay put at the Head-Bridge no matter how long, until the IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu is released, however asked their supporters to come out en mass and join them, and also to come with their cooking stoves.
The Biafrans, have equally disregarded threats made by Nigeria government to shoot the protesters, as they said 'they are determined to die' unless their demand is granted.
In the same vein, some Nigerians have condemned the recent statement made by the Inspector General of Police, directing his men to start shooting Pro Biafra protesters wherever they are sighted, pointing that such directive by the IGP could escalate the problem and possibly lead to another civil war,,,,
