NAKED TYRANNY!

Nnamdi Kanu's continued detention despite several court rulings ordering his release is the best indicator of this govt's anti-democratic credentials and a fore-warning of how tyrannical it is set to become.
It is totally incredible that such brazen disregard of the Judiciary is obtainable in our democracy. It is just incredible that clear and unambiguous court orders like Justice Ademola's can be pooh-pooh'd by a govt that has mouthed many platitudes about democracy.
If you've been following that case and the rather shambolic and nonsensical prosecution, you'll be sorry for a country that keeps people in captivity according to the whims of the security agencies. This is clearly a threat to our democracy.
This FG should realize that tyranny will surely be resisted and infractions against the rule of law will be fought to the last. As it goes, their rather thoughtless arrest of Nnamdi Kanu in the first place has made the man a hero and now threatens to radicalize even moderates, alienate Judges and win him more followers. Where arresting him without any offence was sheer stupidity, keeping him without cause and against court orders is inexplicably obtuse and it's a wonder how those in authority haven't seen this.
A govt that claims intentions of rebuilding the country needs support of its citizenry, not a justified opposition that will harden, expand and develop into a running sore. Buhari must obey court injunctions and free Nnamdi Kanu now!
