Ok a quick one, I have heard people make these statements, 'marriage makes a man responsible, or he has decided to become a responsible man by getting married' The above statements are WRONG. Listen, marriage does not make you responsible. You do not become responsible because you got married. That mindset is wrong.
Look at what happens when you get married. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY INCREASES. It is not the marriage that makes you responsible, you become responsible far before you got married. Marriage will only increase the responsibility that you have. Waiting to get married in other to become responsible is misleading. It is like saying when we get to the bridge we will cross it. thats a defeatist mindset. You cross the the bridge in your mind far before you get to it, else it will be almost impossible to cross it when you get there.
The point is that, the words that you accept rule of lives. So if you listen to and accept the wrong words and statements it will begin to control you. It does not matter how many people say or believe it. If it is wrong, it remains wrong. So, get responsible now that you are single, dont wait to become married first before assuming responsibility, You cant give what you dont have. Be responsible now so that when you get married, you already have a foundation to build on, for marriage increases responsibilities it does not make you responsible.
