Lawyer Ricky Tarfa Blocks EFCC From Arresting Beninoise Businessman For Fraud

A Nigerian lawyer, Ricky Tarfa SAN has prevented the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from arresting  Granhoue Sourou Nazaire, a businessman from the Benin Republic, who had been charged to court in Nigeria for fraud. 

 

 

EFCC agents at the court premises in Lagos had laid an ambush for Nazaire with the plan to arresting him relating to another matter, but Mr. Tarfa shielded and tried to get a judge to issue an order to bar the EFCCC from picking him up.
Nazaire and his Nigerian lawyer, Emeka Egede Ferdinand were facing a 4-count charge of fraud and forgery   Mrs. Rachidatou Abdou and the EFCC at the Federal high court yesterday, the EFCC exhibited the 4-count charge of forgery filed against Mr. Nazaire and his Nigerian lawyer, Emeka Egede Ferdinand.
