Paedophile dad, John Clark
A dad-of-two was caught with sick videos showing girls as young as
three being raped. The man identified as John Clack had a cache of
indecent images and videos - more than 2300 - stored on his mobile phone
and home computer, The Mirror reports.
The man was nabbed after his IP address was traced to a website
containing illegal images of children. His mobile phone had 30 category A
images on it - the most serious classification.
The paedophile dad told investigators he had “stopped using the
home computer to download the indecent images as his children would use
it for their homework and social media”.
As an alternative, he started visiting the sick websites and downloading content from them using his mobile phone.
Clack had his sentencing deferred for additional social work
reports when he appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court yesterday, reported
the Daily Record.
A previous hearing in front of Sheriff James Williamson was told
how Clack had been surfing for regular porn on the internet when he
first came across indecent images of children.
He told police he was “curious”, so kept looking at and downloading pictures and videos featuring girls between the ages of three and 14.
His home computer was found to have one category B image and 1205
category C images on it, as well as four category B and 17 category C
videos.
Lorraine Almond, prosecuting, told the court in January how Clack had “tried to stop and was ashamed of what he was doing but somehow kept going back”. Clack was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register after admitting one charge of possessing indecent images.
The offence took place between April 2004 and May 2015.
Sheriff Williamson referred sentencing until March 10 for more
background reports before making his decision on whether to send the
pervert to jail. Lorraine Almond, prosecuting, told the court in January
how Clack had “tried to stop and was ashamed of what he was doing but somehow kept going back”.
He said: “Mr Clack told social workers what his sexual interests are and they are not healthy.”
