Super Falcons legend, Perpetua Nkwocha finally walked down the
alter, as she was joined in holy matrimony with her husband Ernest
Ikechukwu Nwufor in Owerri on Monday.
The solemnization exercise, which took place at the Our Lady Carmel
Catholic Church, Emekuku, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo
State, witnessed the attendance numerous football stakeholders in
Nigeria, who graced the occasion; honouring the star who gave her best
while in national assignments for Nigeria.
The reception follows immediately after the service at Nkwocha’s
father’s compound in Amankwu Umuhu in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area
of Imo State.
Meanwhile, Perpetual Nkwocha had a successful career with the Super
Falcons featuring in Seven African Women Championships (AWC) winning
gold in five editions (2002, 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2014).
She is presently an assistant coach with the Super Falcons. She is currently an assistant coach with the Super Falcons team.
