VP's wife emerging from the presidential jet
Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, who was represented by the
wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, on Tuesday, March
29th, paid a visit and donated relief materials to persons displaced by
the crisis in Agatu, Benue State.
Speaking to the people of Agatu, the first lady said her visit to
the NOGOA Secondary School Markurdi where the victims are camped, was to
enable her obtain first-hand information on the crisis. She condoled
with the victims promising that they would not stand alone in their time
of grief.

She later presented relief materials to the Internally Displaced
Persons (IDPs), who are victims of suspected Fulani Mercenary attacks in
Benue State, drawn from Agatu, Buruku, Apa, Logo and other affected
areas across the state.
Among items donated which shocked many on social media as the
photos went viral online includes 5 bags of rice, 7 cartons of Tomatoe
paste, 5 cartons of satchet milk, some cartons of cooking oil, and other
food items.
