Wife Kills Husband and a Couple After Catching Them All in Bed Together (Photos)

A 911 call to authorities in North Carolina has suggested a woman killed her husband and a couple he met after catching all three in bed together at her house, Dailymail reports.

 

According to the report, police got a tip from a caller claiming that Crystal Leah Gambino, 42, put the body of the female victim in a wheelbarrow and took it out to a burn pile in the backyard of the home in Alexis, a small town north west of Charlotte.

 

The caller later identified himself as Gambino's brother-in-law. He said she had called another relative and told them she killed her husband, Giovanni James Gambino, 40, and two other people. The triple homicide occurred on Monday night.

 

Police have since identified the other two victims as Geoffrey Glenn Gilliland, 39, and Stephanie Lynn Sanchez, 33, The Charlotte Observer reported.

 

The 911 caller told the operator: 'My sister-in-law has told her family that she killed her husband. She caught him sleeping with another woman. She told them she cleaned up the bullet casings and took care of the bodies.'

 

Then he added: 'She said she put the woman's body in a wheelbarrow and wheeled her out into the backyard to a burn pile.'

 

According to the caller, he said he felt obligated to reveal the truth before it was too late. He asked the police check the house to see if his information tallied. Police arrived the scene and found the three bodies.

Local media said all three bodies were in the bedroom and were naked.

 

Police have not clarified whether the body of Stephanie Sanchez was found in the yard or whether Gambino intended to take it there.

Gaston County Police Capt. Curtis Rosselle told the Gaston Gazette: 'These are people that met, had interaction and then came together. And then the third party did not like it and took action.'

 

Gambino was arrested in Stanley, the next town over, late on Monday.

She has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting deaths. 

 

'What we are trying to resolve now or find out is how these three people came together, how they knew each other, and that is being done through phone records and computers,' Capt. Curtis Rosselle told WBTV.

 

'This is something we are going to take our time with. I would say weeks.'

 

Crystal Gambino is a singer-songwriter who likens her sound to the band 4 Non Blondes, according to music website Riverbnation. Her biography on the site says she has written more than 250 songs.

 

The couple, who have one child together, have had a tumultuous relationship, The Charlotte Observer reported.
