God’s Not Dead 2, the highly-anticipated sequel starring Melissa Joan Hart and Jesse Metcalfe, opened strongly with $9.2 million, landing it in fourth place. SRN News also reported that Miracles From Heaven, starring Jennifer Garner, took fifth place in the U.S. and Canada despite this being its third week in theaters. Barely edging out the two films were Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Zootopia, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
