A 14-year-old girl who was in a horrific car crash miraculously came out of her coma and said she saw Jesus and heaven.
According to ChristianToday.com, Oklahoma resident Kyla Roberts was
thrown from a car on March 6 and hit her head hard on the ground.
Roberts was brought to the hospital where doctors conducted brain surgery on her. She remained in a coma for a month.
"Her brain bounced so hard in her head, she had temporal lobe
fractures," Roberts’ mother, Stephanie, said. "[The doctors] told us we
have to take her into surgery now, or she's going to die. [They said she
was] probably going to die anyway."
When Roberts regained consciousness, she said she had seen heaven and Jesus.
She described heaven as “too bright” and Jesus as having “green eyes
and scraggly hair.” She added that He smelled like “fresh clothes out of
a dryer.”
Roberts said Jesus told her it wasn’t yet time for her to come home.
“I was sitting on his lap and his is very big," Roberts told a KWTV
reporter. "He told me that he loves me and he's ready for me to come
home, but not quite yet. And then I woke up here."
Kyla Roberts is not the first to have an experience of heaven after
suffering a life-threatening injury. ChristianToday.com reports that the
website near-death.com contains many such stories of people who had experiences of heaven or Jesus before waking up back on earth.
