President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his gratitude to Nigerians
who prayed for him as he travelled for London, United Kingdom for
medical treatment.
The President returned to Nigeria on Sunday, June 19 after spending a total of 14 days abroad for treatment on his persistent ear problem and for vacation.
After his departure, Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had urged Nigerians to pray for the president and wish him well while abroad.
Upon return, Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad quoted Buhari to have thanked Nigerians for their support.
"President Buhari – Fellow Nigerians, thank you for your prayers and your support," Ahmad tweeted on his Twitter page.
