The soldiers buried the man alive
In the video, the man can be clearly seen moving his feet before the soldiers buried him alive. A voice can be heard in the background saying in Ukrainian: “He is not dead yet.”
Dailystar reports that the shocking film was first broadcast on Russian channel TV Zvezda, which claims it shows Ukrainian soldiers murdering a pro-Russian separatist.
Relationships between Ukraine and Russia have remained strained following the annexing of Crimea by Russia in 2014.
Russia staged a military intervention in Crimea during the aftermath of the Ukrainian revolution in February 2014.
Ukraine considers the annexation to be a violation of international law and agreements.
It has also been condemned by the UN and many world leaders.
The man who was taped
to a pillar outside a house and whipped was reportedly a drug dealer in
southern Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast region
The man begs for his
life, saying: 'Stop please! I'll say what you need. I will call another
drug dealer and he will arrive with drugs.'
