Three goat thieves apprehended in Bayelsa State
Three goat thieves have been caught after they stole two goats from
a restaurant owner in Amarata, a suburb of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
It was gathered that when they were confronted by the residents,
one of the suspects, holding a Bible in hand, claimed they were
Christians returning from a church service, but they could not explain
how they came about the goats in their possession.
The resident raised the alarm and alerted a local vigilante group,
who later arrested and handed them over to the police. The owner of the
goats has since collected her livestock from police custody.
