According to a shocking report posted on Facebook by Zambezi
Reporters, former Zambia heavyweight boxing champion, Joseph Chingangu,
was apprehended by students at UNZA for allegedly stealing laptops and
the students treated him with jungle justice.
The boxing champ who has reportedly fought the likes of Vladimir
Klitschkov for titles in his heyday, was also arrested for burglary and
aggravated robbery earlier this year. He was seen on camera stealing
from a home and is also suspected to be in possession of a stolen
vehicle.
Zambia Reports allegedly revealed that the police few months ago,
charged Chingangu with theft of motor vehicle, housebreaking and
burglary after he was captured on CCTV camera breaking into a house and
stealing K6,000, US$200, a 51-inch television set, 2 phones, shoes and
clothes.
