The man carrying her dead daughter after being forced out of the ambulance
A father has been left devastated and broken after he was forced to
carry his dead daughter 5 kilometers after being dropped off an
ambulance by a heartless hospital driver.
According to Indian express, seven-year-old girl Barsha Khemudu was
being carried to a hospital in a 108 ambulance from Mathili to
Malkangiri. However, the child died on the way in Nayakguda, where the
ambulance driver allegedly left him and his parents.
As no other vehicle was available, Barsha’s parents walked up to Puspali village.
Meanwhile, District Collector K Sudarshan Chakraborty has ordered a probe into the incident.
“It was irresponsibility on the part of the driver to leave the
dead child mid way. We have registered a criminal case against the
driver for negligence. A probe into the incident will be carried out by
the CDMO,” he said.
Dana Majhi had to walk about 10 kilometres from Bhawanipatna in
Kalahandi district along with his teenage daughter on August 24 carrying
his wife’s body on his shoulders after allegedly being denied a hearse
by Kalahandi district hospital.
