'Ruthless' Female Militant and Niger Delta Militant Group Commander Surrender in Imo (Photos)



 
As the Amnesty Programme of Governor Rochas Okorocha progresses, a female militant leader decorated fully with fettish materials has surrended her weapons to embrace peace in the South-eastern state of Imo.
 
The event which had major security operatives and other stakeholders in attendance was successful with words of peaceful coexistence from the various commanders of the group.
 
 
Speaking at the event, General Felix, leader of Niger Delta Red Squad assured the Governor of their resolve to embrace peace and reintegrate into the society.
 
He traced his apprenticeship from militant groups in Rivers State and asked for forgiveness for the economic sabotage and loss of lives their activities caused the state blaming it on the unfair attitude and activities of the oil companies operating in the area.
 

Gov Rochas Okorocha commended them for embracing the Amnesty assuring them that he would take their matter to the Federal government.
 
He also pledged to visit the areas and put in more efforts to bring development there.
