According to an advert placed in today's national daily, the Falcon
7x and Hawker 4000 aircraft in the presidential fleet, have been
advertised by the federal government for sale to prospective buyers.
The advert revealed that interested buyers of the jets were asked
to inspect the Falcon at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe
International, Airport, Abuja, and the Hawker at Cessna Zurich Citation
Service Centre, Zurich, Switzerland.
Online reports stated that the office of the National Security
Adviser (NSA), which is in charge of the sale, said all bids should be
quoted in US dollars.
As at the time of filing this report, there is no official
statement from the presidency regarding the sale of the presidential
jets or if the reported sale was sactioned and authentic from Aso Rock.
