The naira has continued to
ruthlessly suffer in exchange to the dollar at both the interbank and
parallel markets. Nigerians on social media have thereby teamed up to
heap pressure on the Federal Government using comic relief and memes.
As Nigerians endure the hyper-inflation and economic recession,
memes are being churned out to mock the fate of the naira in the hands
of President Muhammadu Buhari who during the 2015 presidential election
promised to equate the naira with the dollar.
