Tension in Imo as Ritualists Kill 12-Year-Old Boy, Remove His Vital Organs

A young boy has been killed in a really brutal way, sending residents into palpable fear of the unknown in Imo.

A 12-year-old boy has been killed by suspected ritualists in Umudike in Dikenafai community in Ideato South Council Area of Imo State.

 

The sad incident has now thrown residents into fear and apprehension.

 

The victim’s vital organs were also removed by his assailants.

 

According to The Punch, the boy, identified only as Ikenna, a primary four pupil of Dikenafai Community Primary School, had last Thursday gone to school but disappeared during the lunch break.

 

It was learnt that after he did not return home after school hours, his father, identified only as Mr. Rufus and other villagers, raised the alarm.

 

They also organised a search party but efforts made to find the missing boy proved futile.

 

Sunday Punch reports that the following day, his corpse was found beside the office of the headmaster of the school he attended with his penis, tongue, kidney and liver removed.

 

The deceased’s father said he was troubled the day his son got missing.

 

The Imo Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Andrew Enwerem, did not pick calls made to his mobile phone for him to comment on the matter.
