The two children pictured above are reportedly from Nigeria but were found wandering around in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
They have since been taken to the Tokpa market police station in the Cotonou.
The story was shared by one Chuka Udegbuna, a Nigerian businessman resident in Cotonou, on his Facebook page, few hours ago.
Below is how he put it:
"These two children were found wandering and taken to the Tokpa Market police station,Cotonou, Benin Republic.
"They come from Nigeria and they came to Cotonou in search of
their grand mother. This is another clear case of child trafficking and
the abductors or transporter obviously sensing danger fled from being
captured and told the kids to say they are in search of their grand
mother.
"Any meaningful information that will lead to identifying the
children in other to reconcile them with their parents is welcomed"
