A Kenyan school teacher got the shock of his life after a woman he was owing stormed his class to harrass him.
The incident took place in Ndulelei, Narok County, Kenya.
The creditor to the teacher was fed up with his excuses and decided
to storm the class he was teaching in the company of two muscled
ruffians to clobber him.
The man was therefore forced to flee through the window.
According to SDE, fearing the wrath of the furious
creditor, the teacher, a certain Mr Kisirkoi, bolted out of the class
through the window and melted into a nearby maize plantation, leaving
his shocked students laughing their heads off.
The creditor, a bar owner only identified as Janet, had given the
teacher and his guests beer on credit weeks ago, promising to pay up
come end month. But for close to three months, he had been playing ‘hide
and seek’ games with the bar owner.
“He promised to pay the debt three months ago, but he has been
taking me on a wild goose chase. He initially used to pick my calls,
urging me to be patient and shifting the payment date,” said a visibly furious Janet.
For a while, the creditor said she would call him and he would
flatly refuse to pick, much to her furry. And when he picked, he came up
with all sorts of excuses and pleas for patience.
“Things got so thick that he sometimes switched off the phone
for a while or put it on engaged tone. Something that really pissed me
off,” added Janet, wondering why he didn’t just pick up and say he didn’t have the cash.
After a while, Janet would make the call again, hoping for a better
response but all was in vain. When she realised the teacher was
avoiding her, she would borrow a phone from one of her workers and use
it to call. Unfortunately, the moment the teacher heard her voice, he
disconnected and switched off his phone, leaving her seething with rage.
“At times he would pick, but most of the times he would ignore,
considering the numbers were anonymous, making him suspicions. I would
get so frustrated and use my own number once again, ready to tell him
off, only to realise he had now blocked me and refused to answer my text
messages,” said the creditor.
On this particular day, when the fed up creditor called, the
teacher received and whispered to her that he was in class, promising to
call back. But to bring to an end the games, the creditor immediately
fetched two muscled up bouncers from Narok Town with whom she stormed
the school, planning to beat up the defaulting teacher to teach him a
lesson.
But the moment he saw them furiously breeze into his class, he
jumped out of the window and took off. It was the embarrassed school
head who settled the Sh6,000 bill as he pleaded with the bar owner not
to cause more drama in the school.
Efforts by his colleagues to reach him have proved futile, seeing
as his phone has been off and has not been seen in school since last
Wednesday when the incident took place.
The woman told the school head to warn the teacher never to set foot in her bar again.
