Commotion as 32-year-old Bank Manager Hangs Himself in His Residence

A young bank manager has shocked many family, friends and colleagues after allegedly hanging himself to death in his residence.

A 32-year-old manager of Syndicate Bank’s Rajgurunagar branch near Pune in India has killed himself.

 

The man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Khed.

 

According to The Times of India, the incident came to light on Tuesday when his colleagues went to his house to check on him.

 

The Khed police, under Pune rural jurisdiction, have identified the deceased as Vinay Aiyengar, who was originally from Mysore, Karnataka, and had been staying here in a rented apartment.

 

The police said Aiyengar was working as Syndicate Bank’s manager at Rajgurunagar branch.

 

Inspector Pradeep Jadhav of Rajgurunagar police station said, “We have come to know that Aiyengar had been regular to his work till Monday. So, on Tuesday his colleagues went to check on him at his home and why he was not responding to their calls. They found him hanging to the ceiling. Primary probe points to suicide.”

 

Inspector Jadhav added: “We have found a note which we believe is a suicide note. In the note, he said that he is ending his life on his own and no one else was responsible for his death. We have started a probe into finding out the cause behind the suspected suicide. We will be speaking to his family and colleagues soon. Aiyengar was unmarried and stayed alone at his rented flat.”
