According to SaharaReporters, a terrorist operation linked with the
Boko Haram sect has hatched in Maiduguri, Borno State for the second
time today.
A tweet by the online news platform reveals a bomb exploded inside
the Rehabilitation centre for Boko Haram wives and children in Bulunkutu
area of Maiduguri.
The number of casualties and other damages done are currently
sketchy. Meanwhile, a social media user claims the explosion could have
emanated from a faulty power transformer and not a terrorist operation
as purported.
It would be recalled that nine people have been confirmed killed in an explosion earlier this morning - 10:30am along Gubio road in Borno state, just before a military checkpoint, according to Channels TV.
