The President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the
House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, are currently in a closed-door
meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa,
Abuja.
According to a report by Punch, the meeting is believed to be one
of the efforts aimed at resolving the issues arising from the Senate’s
recent rejection of President Muhammadu Buhari’s $30bn foreign loan
request and the 2016-2018 Medium Term Expenditure Framework.
The meeting reportedly started at about 2:00pm with the arrival of
the heads of the two chambers of the National Assembly in the
Vice-President’s office.
