A celebrity gospel singer has been left heartbroken after he was forced to dump his girlfriend for cheating on him.
Hey-Z proposed to Mercy at the Villa Doris Resort
A top Kenya Gospel artist Daniel Ng’ang’a Heho, popularly known as
Hey-Z Da Brand, has ended his relationship with his partner, a former
Tahidi High actress, Mercy Njoki after six years for sleeping with her
boss.
According to Mphaso, the singer revealed that they parted ways in October after he made the shocking discovery.
The couple became the talk of town January this year after the
“Kisogo” singer went down on one knee and asked the lady – who is also
the mother of his son – to marry him while they were swimming at Villa
Doris Resort in Malindi.
Many had rumoured that the couple's wedding would soon take place, but not anymore since the shocking breakup news.
Explaining why he broke up with Mercy, Hey-Z said he found out that
Mercy was cheating on him with her boss and he was forced to pull the
plug because of this. He further revealed that since he is always on the
move, that could have been the opportunity she used to cheat with other
men.
However, he insists that he is in a happy place while adding that
ladies should understand that men have to hustle for their families.
