Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on Tuesday, was pictured taking a tour of some busy areas in the metropolis.
According to a Facebook user, Larry Awani, the newly-elected Edo
State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on Tuesday, took a tour of some busy
areas in the Benin metropolis.
It was learnt that the governor who took over the helms of the
state from Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, reportedly visited areas like Wire
road, Ibiwe road and Oba Market road to ascertain the infrastructural
upgrade needed.
This feat is believed to be a clear signal of what to expect in terms of continuous infrastructural upgrade in the state.
However, some residents of the state had initially expressed fears
that Governor Obaseki being a technocrat might be too busy in his office
dealing with financial bureaucracy.
