A heartless wife has allegedly murdered her husband by cutting his body before doing a shocking thing to cover her tracks.
Moffat Banda was allegedly murdered by the wife
A woman has left many people seriously in shock after killing her
husband before lying about his death. The incident happened on Monday in
Zambia.
According to the New Vision newspaper, a 29-year-old man identified
as Moffat Banda of Kaunda Square in Lusaka of Zambia lost his life over
a marital dispute.
Reports in Zambian media revealed that the man was allegedly
murdered by his wife of four years, identified as Gladys. However, the
woman lied to the man's family members that Banda died after drinking
Doom, an insecticide.
But, relatives were shocked to discover suspicious cuts on his
head, body and swollen private parts forcing them to delay his burial
which had been slated to hold on Thursday.
Close relatives to the deceased suspected foul play. The wife was
later apprehended in connection with Banda’s death. The two have a three
years old girl. Banda was put to rest after his relatives request for a
postmortem was successful. The family have already accused the wife of
killing their son and lying about the matter.
Investigation into the matter is under way.
