An
accident simulation was staged successfully in the northern part of
Nigeria to give security operatives and emergency workers a feel of
reality.

Niger State residents got an eyeful following a simulation on mass casualty handling in auto-crash.
The exercise was staged at a popular junction in Minna to identify
gaps and familiarize the key stakeholders in disaster management with
their roles as well as sensitizing public on handling mass casualties in
the event of an accident.
Well meaning Nigerians tried to interfere in the operation by
rescuing the victims before the security operatives hinted them of the
staged act.
Among the key stakeholders that participated were FRSC,NSCDC,
NSEMA, Police, Red Cross, DSS, NURTW, VIO, Special Marshal AND TOAN.
