A man who is said to be a Ugandan citizen caused quite a spectacle
in Mombasa on Tuesday November 29, after jumping off Canon Towers – the
8th tallest building in the region, Mpasho reports.
It was gathered that the man attempted to kill himself after
running into a man he owes Sh30,000. He had gone to run an errand at the
building which is located on Moi Avenue when he ran into the man.
The creditor it was reported had threatened to call the police to
arrest him, forcing the man to take the unusual decision as he jumped
from the 2nd floor of the building.
He plunged through an open window, but miraculously survived with
minor injuries after landing on a tuk tuk (tricycle) that was parked
outside.
