Is This the Luckiest Man Alive? Watch as Driver is Dragged From His Car Just Seconds Before it Burst Into Flames

A man has had an unbelievably close shave with a tragic death after his car went up in flames but was helped out just in time.

A driver has come just within seconds of burning alive after he was dragged from his flaming car just before it burst into a fireball.

 

A really dramatic footage going round the internet shows bystanders desperately trying to wrench open the car’s door to reach the trapped man.

 

The flames continue to rage as they finally manage to get to him and pull him out.

 

They manage to drag him to safety where they wrap him in a jacket.

 

But just as he gets to a safe distance, the car erupts into a huge fireball.

 

According to Daily Star UK, the driver had careered off a road in Texas, US, on Sunday (December 19), causing the blaze.

 

Officer Jason Wells – of the Pearland Police Department – said: “It was potentially dangerous for the rescuers to jump in but they did and moved that driver to safety.

“Without these folks helping the driver at that time, it could have been catastrophic.”

 

Thanks to the heroic actions of the four onlookers, the driver only appeared to have broken bones from the crash.
