Shocker! University Student Attacks and Kills His Own Roommate Inside Their Campus Residence

A university student has left many people scratching their heads in wonder after attacking and murdering his own roommate.

A student of the Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa, has been arrested by the police.

 

The unnamed man was arrested for allegedly killing his roommate on the main campus residence in Pretoria on Friday morning.

 

According to SABC News, the accused is said to have found that the deceased locked the room with a different padlock, got hold of a bolt cutter and an argument between the two ensued.

 

It's alleged that the assailant used the bolt cutter to attack the deceased. 

 

University spokesperson Willa de Ruiter has described the incident as saddening.

“The Tshwane University of Technology is saddened by the accidental death of a male student in the early hours of this morning. The tragic incident took place at Lizard residence at the university's Pretoria campus. The suspect has been arrested and police investigation is under way. The deceased's name cannot be released until his next of kin has been informed,” Ruiter said
