Eagles most decorated football superstar, Kanu Nwankwo, who recently
lost his mother, Mrs Susan Kanu Iheme, on September 7, has finally laid
her to eternal rest in his home-town, Abia state.

Retired Super Eagles striker, Nwankwo Kanu, a.k.a Papillo, who
captained the Nigerian national team for 16 years from 1994 until 2010,
on Saturday, December 3rd, buried his late mother, Susan Nwannediya Kanu
at his home-town, Amannagwu village in Arochukwu LGA, Abia State.
Recall that the mother of the Nigerian football legend, had died on Sept. 7th, aged 82 years old.
Her remains arrived Arochukwu on Friday Dec. 3, 2016 for service of
songs at her residence Amannagwu, Arochukwu, while funeral service was
held by 10:00am at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria Amannagwu.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
