Biafra
agitators have taken to the streets to celebrate the inauguration of
U.S President-elect, Donald J. Trump taking place in Washington DC.
IPOB members in raptures on the streets
As seen in different parts of the country, members of the
Independent People of Biafra, IPOB took to the streets marching in
solidarity and support for the new American president, Donald Trump
Crowds were seen gathering in various parts of Port Harcourt,
Rivers State chanting praise songs for the American billionaire as well
as parading placards in exaltation of him.
As average Nigerians will ponder on the local excitement about the
controversial Donald Trump's emergence, one might be forced to make
reference to a wild rumour by the Radio Biafra that the incoming
administration will support the secession of Biafra from Nigeria.
One of the banners paraded had the words "Victory for Trump, victory for the oppressed" in correlation to the Biafra cause.
There are also allegations that the outgoing administration of
President Barack Obama was pro-President Muhammadu Buhari which has
allegedly condoned the abuse of the rights of the IPOB leader Nnamdi
Kanu and his supporters.
