As
the world watches to see if defeated Gambian president, Yahya Jammeh,
will step down or not, a video has emerged showing his photo being taken
down.
Yahya Jammeh's photo being taken down
Following the inauguration of Adama Barrow as the Gambia's new
president, the man has become internationally recognised as Gambia's
commander-in-chief despite the defiance of Yahya Jammeh to remain in
power.
It will be recalled that Barrow's inauguration held on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at the Gambia embassy in Senegal.
After Barrow's inauguration, the presidential portrait of Yahya
Jammeh was replaced with that of the new president. The event happened
at the UN Gambia’s mission in the United State.
