An
Enugu state pastor has found himself in a very embarrassing situation
after receiving a Samsung Galaxy phone from a dubious person.

An Enugu based pastor has been arrested by the Police for allegedly
receiving a stolen Android tablet called Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
Nigerian Tribune reports that the suspect is in charge of a new generation church at New Haven in Enugu.
Confirming the story, the State Police Public Relations Officer,
Ebere Amarizu said that the suspect was already helping law enforcement
agents in their investigations.
Amarizu said: “The suspect who is a Pastor of an Enugu based
new generation church at the New Haven axis, of the state is now
helping the operatives of the Independent Layout Division of the state
police command in their investigations”
“The suspect was nabbed recently by the operatives in
connection with his alleged involvement in the buying of an alleged
stolen Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Arrested alongside the said pastor in
connection with the alleged incident, was one Nwafor.
“The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 was the property of a certain armed
robbery/car snatching victim who was attacked a year ago by hoodlums who
robbed him of some valuables including the said samsung galaxy Tab 2
and went away
“Following the report, operatives intensified their manhunt and
through intelligence information, (the pastor) was arrested and the
said samsung galaxy Tab 2 which was said to be the property of the
victim recovered from him.”
According to the police spokesman: “The revelation of the
pastor assisted the operatives in the arrest of Nwafor suspected to have
sold the alleged stolen samsung Galaxy tab 2 to him. Full scale
investigations have commenced into the alleged incident.”
