It was gathered that the Russian oligarch forked out a staggering
£2.5million on just getting Mariah Carey to fly in and sing, 'We Belong
Together' at his teenage granddaughter’s ridiculously lavish wedding
held at London's Landmark Hotel, where the Presidential Suite costs
£1,450-a-night, at the weekend.
According to Dailymail, the bride is said to have wept when Sir
Elton, who charges no less than £1million, dedicated the song, 'Tiny
Dancer' to her during a 12-song set.
Sir Elton said: 'This is for Irene. She's not that tiny, but I know she's a really good dancer because I can see her down there.'
Actor Antonio Banderas, who now lives in London and recently dined
with Prince Charles, also made a speech during the star-studded wedding,
wishing the couple well.
