Power Blackout: See How Sapele Residents Protested with Generators on Their Heads (Photos)

Some residents in Sapele area of Delta State engaged in a massive protest over power outage which they say has been longing for months without any improvement.

 

Photos which emerged online few hours ago have shown how angry residents in the Sapele area of Delta state, were engaged in a massive protest against the Benin Electricity company (BEDC) over power outage.

 

The protesting residents said that there have been no electricity in the area for a while now and that they have been longing for months without any improvement. 

 

Some residents were pictured carrying generator sets on their heads during the demonstration.
