A radio host was left red-faced after Omoyele Sowore stormed out of an interview following the decision of the GM to censor his statement.
SaharaReporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore

Sahara Reporters' publisher, Omoyele Sowore bitterly walked out of an interview with Bond FM, after the General Manager, Bamidele Dada stormed into the studio and tried to stop him from speaking about certain issues.

Sowore instead of bowing to Dada's demands, decided to walk out of the live interview as he found it unpalatable.

"If you don't want me to express myself I will leave, it's as simple as that. I cannot participate in a show where the government says I can't speak my mind," Sowore said as he left the studio.

Sowore is known for his political activism and was recently arrested in a controversial incident with U.K-based Nigerian journalist, Lekan Fatodu who accused him of criminal defamation, blackmail and threat to life.

He was later released after he challenged policemen for arresting him without any evidence.
