See the Made-in-Aba Special Gift a PDP Governor Gave to Vice President Osinbajo (Photos)


The advocacy for the patronage of locally-made goods has begin to gather momentum with some local wares being showcased publicly in the South-east.

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, yesterday, gifted two trunk boxes filled with "Made-in-Aba" products to Vice President Yemi Osibanjo and the Minister for Industries, Trade And investment, Dr Okechukwu Enelamah at a Banquet organized the State government.
 
The large trunk boxes labelled "Made-in-Aba" which contained bags, clothes, belts, choes etc were presented by the Governor and his wife as a way of appreciating the Federal Government's effort in encouraging the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the State.
 
It should be recalled that The Vice president along with other delegates visited Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State yesterday to flag off the maiden edition of MSMEs clinic in the State.
 
In appreciation of the goodwill, the Minister for Industries, Trade and Investments, Dr Okechukwu Enelamah assured Abians that his ministry will do everything to support the initiatives of Governor Ikpeazu in growing the economy of the state.
 
Prof Osinbajo who was delighted to see exact replicas of his trademark caps inside the box of gifts also expressed his deep gratitude to Governor Ikpeazu and the government and people of Abia State for the warm reception he and his team have received throughout the visit.
