Security agents have been called upon to rescue some almajari children being abused at an Islamic school in Nasarawa state.
The children are chained and maltreated as punishment
People have been left baffled after photos of children known as
Almajiri in a Quranic school in Keffi, Nasarawa State were spotted in
chains.
The maltreated children were reportedly beaten, tortured and even
bound in chains as punishment. The authorities in the state have been
called upon to swiftly act in the interest of the innocent children.
