A
woman accused of serving a cheeseburger smeared with her bodily fluids
to a customer at a fast food restaurant has turned herself in to the
Columbus Police Department on Monday.
A Mississippi woman is facing five years in jail after she
allegedly smeared her own menstrual blood on a cheeseburger before
serving it to a patron at the fast food restaurant where she worked.
18-year-old Sky Juliett Samuel, turned herself in on Monday morning
after police issued an arrest warrant for her. The incident occurred on
January 7 at a Jack’s Family Restaurant in the town of Columbus,
according to The Dispatch newspaper.
She allegedly spread her bodily fluids on a female customer at the drive-thru window around 10 pm the night of the 7th.
In an interview with KFOR-TV, City of Columbus Public Information Officer Joe Dillon said, "The employee didn't understand the woman's order, words were exchanged, and it went downhill from there."
A co-worker of Samuel’s later told her mother, Tabatha Hollins, who posted about the incident on her Facebook page, writing:
"If u went to Jack's between 10:00pm and 10:30pm on 1/7/2017 and u
order the big jack with a sprite u got more then ketchup!!!"
The customer saw the Facebook post and then alerted Columbus police.
Samuel and Hollins’ daughter were both forced to resign from
Jack’s, though according to Officer Dillion, they were actually fired
for food theft.
