Two
Big Brother Nigeria housemates, Somadina and Miyonse have been evicted
from the ongoing reality show on a night of double eviction.
Miyonce evicted as his lover, Tboss looks in shock
Earlier in the week, three housemates; Somadina, Miyonse, and Gifty
were nominated for possible eviction this weekend. But luck smiled on
Gifty as Cocoice (the then Head-of-House) saved her by swapping her name
for Efe’s on the nomination list.
From the vote casts to keep the fan’s most favourite nominee in the
game, Soma earned the least vote; closely followed by Miyonse leaving
Efe saved from eviction this weekend. The votes were independently
verified by Steve Mabusela of Delloitte and co. South Africa.
-It's a wrap for Miyonse!
Miyonse had long known he was hanging by a thread, having survived
the first mock Eviction, yet when Biggie called his name he melted away
on screen.
Although Housemates reactions were as dramatic as for previous
Evictions, one could not help but notice the mixed range of emotions
that painted TBoss’ facial expressions.
Of all Housemates, she appeared to be the most taken aback yet
determined to keep herself from flinching: after all TBoss had coldly
Nominated the close friend she had cuddled herself to sleep with since
the beginning.
And thus Miyonse had come to the end of the road without an ounce of bitterness for those he now referred to as family.
Soma hugging his lover Gifty as he was evicted
-It was also an end of the road for Soma as he was evicted from the Big Brother House
Biggie’s call for Soma's Eviction was welcomed by cries of shock, tears rolling down trembling cheeks and wahala dey!
Housemates sprung as one to hug Soma, with Bisola and TBoss
throwing themselves at him as others closed up on him for one last giant
group hug.
While CoCoIce had curled up onto the sofa, her eyes shut as if attempting to mentally escape the moment.
The electric mood had Housemates reveal hidden talents on par with
professional mourners: Gifty was crying the loudest, shouting of
despair, and at times even cursing in a room where noises of snorting
and nervous barefoot hitting the floor were amplified.
