protesters have converged in Lagos to protest against President
Muhamamdu Buhari over the harsh economic condition in the land.
Nigerians protesting in Lagos against President Muhammadu Buhari-led government
In defiance to the police threat to shelve the planned Monday 6th
February 2017 anti-government protest, crowds have turned out to support
the #IStandWithNigeria protesters who are at the National stadium
protesting against the government over the hard condition of things in
the country.
Emerging human rights lawyer and activist, Inibehe Effiong took to
Facebook to share pictures of himself and other protesters at the
National stadium even with the heavy security presence.
"At the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos State for the protest for good governance." he wrote on social media.
Also writing on his Facebook page, Olarewaju Ayodeji revealed that
the daughter of Senator Babfemi Ojudu, SA political to President
Muhammadu Buhari has joined the protest.
"Protest has commenced in Lagos. Among the protesters is the
daughter of Senator Babafemi Ojudu, SA political to President Buhari.
#IStandWithNigeria." Ayodeji wrote.
The protesters have also converged at other different places in Abuja, Ibadan and other places.
